CA Registration Fee
A $30 CA registration fee is due when you register for Day Camp.
We invest a lot in our CAs because they are such an important part of LDC! The registration fee helps cover the cost of your CA shirt and patch, with the remaining funds helping support our CA program throughout the year.

Updated CA Application Process
The 2027 process will be the same as 2026!
In 2026, we made a few changes to the CA registration process based on feedback from past and current CAs and adult leaders. We found that taking a little extra time to connect with applicants before registration helps ensure that everyone understands what being a CA involves.
CAs must be rising 9th graders or older.
Our goal is to make sure every CA understands the time, commitment, responsibility, and energy involved in being a Camp Aide and is ready to contribute to a fun, safe, and meaningful week for our campers.
Here’s how it works:

Complete the CA Application in October.Interview
Attend a brief virtual interview with the Camp Aide Directors in November.Register
After completing the application and interview, you’ll receive a registration code for January 1 registration.This process isn’t about finding the “perfect” CA. We want to get to know you, answer your questions, and make sure you understand what being a CA is all about.
Can’t Make a November Interview?
Don’t worry! We know schedules can be busy.
If you are unable to attend one of the November interview dates, you will still have an opportunity to interview and become a CA.
Late interviews will be offered in January 2027. Additional registration information will be provided after your interview.
