Here are some important reminders!
ARRIVAL
You will need to be at camp 30 minutes early each day. Plan on being at camp from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm every day.
COME PREPARED!
A fully stocked Leader’s Backpack might include:
scissors
markers
tape (clear, packing, masking)
paint & paintbrushes
stapler & staples
yarn, string, or rope
SEVERE WEATHER
In case of severe weather during Day Camp, the Director will decide whether to move camp to an indoor location at
Lilburn City Hall and move carpool there too. The Director may also make the decision to move camp to another site for the next day. School officials at Arcado Elementary School have been kind enough to allow us space for backup use. Day Camp staff will be directing traffic if this happens. Please be patient and follow directions.
Trailblazer Units
The Trailblazer Patch Booklet was created using Google Docs to guide Trailblazer campers (6th grade) through the badge requirements. Feel free to copy and use for your unit. Below are some directions on how to copy, edit and print the booklet for your unit.
- Click the link to open the Google Document Trailblazer Patch Booklet
- Click File>Make a copy
- Rename the file and choose the folder you wish to save the file in
- You will now be able to edit the date and theme picture
- Click File>Download>PDF
- Open the PDF
- When you are ready to print the PDF, select Booklet and Print on Both sides. (This should give you a half page booklet). It is recommended that you print the booklet in color so the campers can identify the plants, insects and animals appropriately.
