COVID Measures

Camper Guidelines & Requirements

  • Masks MUST be worn at all times – this includes staff, camp aides, and campers. Masks may be taken off during mealtimes, but campers need to maintain social distancing. (6 to 10 feet)
  • Campers, camp aides and staff need to bring 2 to 3 masks per day to camp.
  • There will be staggered arrival and departure times for campers, camp aides, and staff.
  • NO carpooling.
  • Parents MUST remain in their vehicle during drop-off.
  • No water jugs will be allowed at camp so staff, camp aides, and campers needs to bring enough water for the day. Refill stations will not be available.
  • Campers will bring their own meals/snacks.
  • Campers will need to bring individual craft supplies – crayons, colored pencils, etc. to reduce cross contamination. A list of these supplies will be emailed prior to the start of camp.
  • Staff, Camp Aides, and/or Campers who are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms including chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea or have recently had a temperature of 100.4 and above will be required to leave camp promptly.
  • If you are called to pick your camper due to COVID-19 symptoms (see above), you agree to sign your daughter out and leave the property promptly. Due to space limitations and health related issues, you must arrive within one hour.
  • Staff, Camp Aides and/or Campers will not be allowed to return to camp without receiving a negative COVID-19 test.

LDC Camp Measures

  • Campers will be in “family groups” with no more than 10 people per family – this includes leaders, Camp Aides, and campers.  3 families make a pod.  Pods cannot mix with other pods. 
  • Temperature and symptom screenings will be done daily upon arrival for staff, camp aides, and campers.
  • Bathrooms will be wiped down every hour with a deep clean at the end of each day.
  • Everything will be sanitized between uses.
  • Camp cannot hold opening and closing ceremonies this summer.
  • Staff, Camp Aides, and/or Campers who are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms including chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea or have recently had a temperature of 100.4 and above will be required to leave camp promptly.
  • Staff, Camp Aides and/or Campers will not be allowed to return to camp without receiving a negative COVID-19 test.
  • If a Unit is deemed to have been exposed to COVID-19, all campers in that unit will be sent home and may only return with a negative COVID-19 test.
  • There is a $20 non-refundable deposit for camp.  While we will try and accommodate refunds due to a camper being unable to attend due to illness or exposure we cannot guarantee any refunds after May 23rd.  All inquiries should be directed to our Business Manager immediately.
